About me

My name is Greta and I’m a Classicist by training. I’m from Verona, Italy, and I’m currently a part-time PhD student at the UCL Centre for Digital Humanities as well as a full-time researcher at the University of Göttingen. My PhD supervisors are Professor Melissa Terras and Simon Mahony. In Göttingen, I work as part of the eTRAP Early Career Research Group.

This project started with my PhD but will continue beyond my studies. Parts of my almost-finished PhD thesis have already been published and more are on the way. I don’t wish or presume to produce the definitive edition of De civitate Dei – dozens of these already exist and this project is more of a personal learning experience, where I try to combine existing digital resources of De civitate Dei with my own interests.
